LINAVA partnership leads to four new contracts worth €5.8m for the addvantage dual-fuel system in the Baltic States

Following the partnership agreement with LINAVA, addvantage Global has already signed contracts worth €5.8m to install the addvantage dual-fuel system with four Lithuanian hauliers.

Four of the major hauliers in Lithuania have now signed irrevocable subject-to-trial contracts to install the addvantage dual-fuel system. This follows the inking of a key partnership with LINAVA, the association representing road haulage organisations in the Baltic States and Poland.

Commenting on the signing of the four contracts, Daniel Mitchell, CEO of addvantage Global, said: “We’re really excited to have closed deals with these hauliers so soon after concluding our partnership with LINAVA. LINAVA is the equivalent of the Road Haulage Association in the UK and their endorsement of the addvantage system has been crucial. Having thoroughly reviewed the technology, LINAVA now recommends the addvantage system as best practice to all of their 700 members”.

Zenonas Buivydas, Secretary General of LINAVA, explained: “These new contracts come as no surprise. Like us, our members realise there is simply nothing else widely available today that can deliver such large savings for hauliers keen to cut costs and deliver significant reductions in CO2 emissions from their heavy trucks. With strong interest from many more of our 700 members, these contracts are likely to be only the first of many”.

The addvantage technology can be retrofitted to any heavy-duty truck in a matter of hours. Once fitted, it delivers proven fuel-cost savings of up to 13% and cuts CO2 emissions by 23%.

addvantage is already successful in the UK and Europe. Having achieved VCA approval, the addvantage system now has a pipeline of orders/LOIs in the high 10s of £millions.

A member of International Road Union, LINAVA was founded in 1991 by 84 Lithuanian road transport operators. Today, it represents more than 700 leading road transport operators across the Baltic States and Poland.

The fact that addvantage is available now, is easily retrofitted, and that results can be instantly proved by the dashboard monitoring system is what persuaded me to join. I expect hauliers that are struggling to control costs and reduce emissions will find it equally persuasive”.
